Chef Butterfield's Personal Chef Services are getting even more personalized by sourcing ingredients from local farmers--good for Maryland, the local economy, the planet, and of course--your health. Maryland has a terrior all it's own and I'm impressed by my clients innate ability to notice it as I do. Chef Butterfield is working on a farm to table approach that is going to have your family eating the most delicious and nutritious food at home you can imagine. I'm excited about our agricultural heritage which continues to grow and I hope you are, too!

For all you foodies, raw enthusiasts, vegetarians and healthy eating planet conscious people, I have a sea vegetable source for you. Located in Northern California Mendocino Sea Vegetable Company is your source for all things wild, green and seaweed. Hand cultivated by the owners with loving care, I was first introduced to Mendocino Sea Vegetable Company while working at Millennium restaurant in San Francisco with Chef Eric Tucker and his delightful whim and avant-guarde creativity Chef Tucker highlights many seaweed varieties on his menus. I hope that I can bring these wonderful products into your home through my service, or have you ordering seaweed for yourself to enjoy in a myriad of ways. Use these healthful plants like you would any seasoning in stocks, soups, broths, salads and traditional vegetable side dishes, put a little powdered dulce in your favorite smoothies and enjoy the emense health benefits of these wonderful sea vegetables.

I would like to share with my dear customers, one of my bookmarked online news sources: newsdesk.org--important but overlooked news from around the world. With many print newspapers going out of business, there's an obvious onslought of online news sources, many of which [I believe] are lacking in journalistic nature and truly overlook important news. Personally, I like the diversity of stories brought to me from newsdesk.org, such as this environmental piece centering on the songbirds of the uppermost New England territory, an indelibe truth just about everywhere. Another reason why choosing organic is best.
